We take special pride in our selection of interesting and unusual vases, and we create seasonal and timeless wreaths.

ABOUT AMY
Amy Carlisle Fitzgerald owns and leads Petals. She has loved flowers for as long as she can remember. Amy worked for years in the floral department at Ukrop’s, including here at the Village Shopping Center.
A lifelong Richmonder, Amy is a proud graduate of Richmond Community High School. At VCU, she majored in art and graduated with a BFA in illustration. Among her paintings, her husband’s favorites are portraits of flowers.
Amy has also worked in insurance, assessing small business risks as an underwriter. When this dream came calling, her corporate friends supported it, and she is grateful.
Before Petals, Amy acted as florist for her own wedding in 2017. She pulled it off with every flower in position and wowed the crowd.
Amy and her husband Matt live in the near west end with two enthusiastic cats. She has completed the Richmond marathon twice.
